For many people, a "good" lineup is what makes a festival worth the trip. Defqon.1, the biggest HDM (Hard Dance Music) festival in the world, of course has a gigantic Hardstyle, Rawstyle and Hardcore lineup every year. With 14 stages in 2025 (the number varies from year to year), you can imagine how many artists play when each set is about an hour and the festival lasts 4 days.

Lineup for Defqon.1 2027

The Defqon.1 2027 lineup has not been released yet. In the last two years, Q-dance presented the full lineup at the end of March, on 27 March 2025 and 26 March 2026, in the video The Release. The full timetable came out at the end of May, in the video The Warming-up and in the Defqon.1 app. Defqon.1 2027 takes place on 24-27 June 2027.

When is the Defqon.1 lineup announced?

It is usually published at the end of March, several months after the ticket sale, which now takes place in the autumn. As a festivalgoer you never need to worry about bad artists, since more than 300 artists play over these days. In other words, you can book a travel package or buy a ticket without worrying about the lineup. Read more about tickets for 2027.

Q-dance of course knows which artists are in demand and active before each edition. In fact, Q-dance actually owns the trademark "Hardstyle". They registered it when the company was founded around 2000.

The biggest artists usually play on Saturday and Sunday. Artists such as Headhunterz, The Prophet, Technoboy, Ran-D, Angerfist, Miss K8, Wasted Penguinz, Da Tweekaz and Dr Peacock have played at Defqon.1 many times over the years.

Where can I get a good overview of the lineup?

We recommend visiting Partyflock. Partyflock is a Dutch website that lists most events and festivals held in the Netherlands. It gives a very clear overview of which artists are playing and is often much easier to read than the organisers' festival websites, which go for a flashy layout that is unfortunately not ideal if you just want a simple table of who is playing.

Another advantage of Partyflock is that you can click through to each artist's profile and see where they have played and where they will play in the future. That is great if you want to see at which future events you can catch your favourite artist.

Where can I find the timetable for when the artists play?

Organisers usually hold back the timetable until anything from the same week as the event or festival to a few weeks before. Of course this differs between festivals and organisers, and it can change from year to year. For Defqon.1, the full timetable came out at the end of May in both 2025 and 2026, and it is only available in the Defqon.1 app.
