Defqon.1 2027 takes place on 24-27 June in Biddinghuizen in the Netherlands, about 70 km from Amsterdam. Here are the most common ways to get there and where you can stay during the festival. You can read about the tickets in Defqon.1 2027 tickets.

Bus with Coretours from Scandinavia

Coretours runs bus trips to Defqon.1 from Sweden, Denmark and Norway and is Q-dance's official travel partner in Scandinavia. The bus leaves the day before the festival starts and parks a couple of minutes' walk from the entrance. The travel packages are released first to those who have pre-registered.

Fly to Amsterdam Schiphol

If you fly to Amsterdam Schiphol, you can take the Q-dance shuttle bus from there to the festival. The shuttle buses also run from Amsterdam Centraal, Utrecht Centraal and Eindhoven Centraal. They leave on Thursday or Friday and return on Monday.

Train and shuttle from Dronten

With a weekend ticket you can take the train to Dronten station and the Q-dance shuttle bus from there to the festival and back. The shuttle is for visitors who arrive on Thursday and go home on Monday.

Car and parking

If you come by car, Q-dance offers three kinds of parking: Park + Ride with a shuttle bus to the festival for campers with a weekend ticket, regular parking tickets for day and weekend visitors (with a spot at camping areas 5 and 6) and priority parking tickets for weekend visitors (with a spot at camping areas 1-4).

In 2026 there was also a Kiss & Ride drop-off point, open around the clock, and a taxi stand by the car park. The rules for 2027 have not been published yet.

Accommodation at Defqon.1 2027

A weekend ticket includes camping in your own tent at the festival campsite. Q-dance also sells several accommodation packages for 2027:

  • The Sanctuary: secluded premium camping with its own sanitary facilities, power sockets and a wellness area, among other things.
  • The Highlands: pre-assembled accommodation a little away from the busiest parts of the campsite.
  • The Basecamp: a pre-assembled tent for two or four people at the regular campsite.
  • Friends Camp: a reserved spot for groups of 6 to 36 people.
  • Cottages and apartments for 2 to 16 people at a holiday park, with a daily shuttle to the festival.
  • Hotels, including in Amsterdam, with a transfer on Saturday.

If you travel with Coretours, you stay at Coretours camp near the festival entrance, in your own tent or in a pre-pitched tent from Coretours. Read more on the camping page.
